Picture this. The Windsockers have put out a fleet of new caches and you want to get FTF on them all. You grab your GPSr and the spare rechargeables you charged a week or so ago. At 100m to go your GPS dies. No problem, you stick in your spare rechargeables and get under way. At 50m your GPSr dies again. What!?! Anyone who uses rechargeables knows that the charge doesn't stay in them for long after you plug out the charger. Well hopefully Uniross have now solved that problem with the new 2100mAh Hybrio battery. Hybrio batteries are alkaline like batteries, and are ready to use out of the pack, and even if not used for a year they'll hold 70% of the charge. They can be charged up to 500 times, and can be charged in a standard Ni-Mh charger.
